Release 3.7¶

This release expands the auto microplanning workflow, improves recovery and monitoring for background tasks, and strengthens the reliability of exports, backups and supporting platform services.

Updates & Maintenance¶

  • Improved background task management Task monitoring was expanded to provide clearer status information, and failed or terminated imports and exports can be restarted more reliably.

  • Platform and deployment maintenance Deployment promotion, database backup and restore handling, Redis persistence, and service health information were improved to support more reliable operations.

  • Updated data collection services ODK Central and its supporting components were upgraded to improve compatibility and maintenance.

Improvements & New Features¶

  • Microplan routes and distances Auto microplanning can compute and display itinerary paths and distances between health facilities and their assigned targets.

  • More flexible moderation Moderators can locate targets from the map, filter health facility lists, return a validation to edit mode, and see warnings when targets have too many or too few planned visits.

  • Improved microplan outputs PDF exports include clearer summary information, and standalone tools are available for generating microplan PDF and Excel outputs.

  • Safer microplan updates Existing moderation data is backed up before a microplan is deleted or applied, and configuration analysis more clearly identifies whether clustering or indicator updates are required.

  • Deployment visibility The platform information endpoint now reports the deployed version and active environment slot.

Bug Fixes & Corrections¶

  • Fixed targeted-area previews that did not load correctly in some configurations (#6344).

  • Corrected stationary activity detection when an activity was outside the final base-layer level (#6355).

  • Fixed indicator updates when a cluster did not have an ancestor.

  • Improved health facility loading and large road dataset processing performance.

  • Corrected several database backup and restore permission issues (#6022).

  • Fixed task scheduler startup compatibility and task type handling (#6360).
