Release 2.0¶
Deployed on February 3, 2025
This release brings major improvements to the dashboard map, a significant data model overhaul, and new reporting capabilities. These updates enhance performance, scalability, and user experience while laying the foundation for future developments.
Map Enhancements¶
Focus on single tracking round (removal of multiple tracking-round selection).
Streamlined analysis, the map is by default in geocoverage mode.
Refactored technical implementation to support base layers (labels, POIs, etc.) using vector tiles.
Global tracking round indicators always visible in the header.
New Indicators for Team Monitoring¶
We’re introducing new indicators for team to help supervisors to monitor team’s progress. - Team’s participation in geocoverage. - Team’s distance traveled (by day, distance travelled inside targeted area, total distance). - Team’s activity (by day, time spent in targeted area, total active time) - Device misconfiguration warning.
Improved Map Settings¶
Adjust visibility or transparency of tracks, ODK collection and target areas.
Display transit tracks exceeding speed limits.
Option to color tracks by day or team for better clarity.
Data Model Overhaul¶
A comprehensive reshaping of the data model has been completed to: - Enhance performance and handle larger datasets for large-scale campaigns. - Enable advanced indicators for better monitoring and decision-making. - Support mobile-friendly UX (design is ready; implementation is planned for the next release). - Prepare for additional base layer management (foundations are set; rollout planned for the next release).
