The GTS version 1.8 release includes the following enhancements:

Enhancements:

Admin Dashboard:

  • Different Field Activities may use the same Tracking Round name, but the Tracking Round name should be unique within the Field Activity. Previously Tracking Round names were required to be unique across the GTS.

  • Different Organizations may use the same Field Activity name, but the Field Activity name should be unique within the Organization. Previously Field Activity names were required to be unique across the GTS.

  • Install instructions from the Logistics Tab have been reformatted to better fit standard page layouts

  • Targeted Areas uploading

    • Consistency Checks are performed by default to make the interface more intuitive

    • There have also been improvements to the performance of the consistence checking across aggregated Base Layers.

    • The performance of Targeted Areas uploading has also been improved to make the process speedier and more robust.

Map Display in Geo-coverage Mode:

  • The insert headers no longer scroll to off the top when scrolling through long lists Map Display

  • The colour used to designate tracks by default or to group tracks by Field Staff or Team Code will now remain unchanged after track imports.

GTS Mobile Application:

  • The GTS Store mobile application delivery service has been upgraded to the latest version of FDroid

  • ODK forms and Field Activity configuration are now refreshed automatically while tracking, every hour subject to Internet connectivity.

  • Layout of the Mobile login page has been changed so that keyboard does not overlap text inputs anymore
